Whatsthewordanswers

What's your answer?

     This is just cool! It is now a very popular game for iOS/Android (developed by LOTUM GmbH). As a word game lover, you will find this game to be a quick, easy and a lot of fun! Twisting brain sometimes is not that bad! ^_^

     So, when I was playing my phone yesterday and was thinking of what was the answer of this;

my baby girl, Alexandra pointed her finger to the man and said "Ahhh, that stinks! " Haha! And she just gave me the answer! Cool!

     And the best part is that you already know how to play it! Now, I suggest you go play and have fun.

     Here's the link where you can get it or you can download it directly from your phone's app store! It's all free! xoxo  http://www.whatsthewordanswers.com/download/

Bring back the 70's

Bring back the 70's

     When I was in the Supermarket earlier, there were few songs around. I was listening of course but I was close of leaving the place. I mean, the beats were nice and catchy but I can't help the fact that the singers of those songs are somewhat devilish. Oh, don't get me wrong! I only say that by the way they appear on their music videos. I just miss those old songs way back then. Where you can appreciate every word and rhythm in one song! Just one of them;

     In our world today, you can count a few that will still love this song. And it's only one of the many old songs that you can still listen up to today -IF- you really appreciate real music. Just for me and for my very best idea, true musicians don't wait for someone who write songs for them. They create it! They hold instruments and just don't stand in the middle of the crowd. Old musicians didn't need so much or more props just to sell records. Take a look at this;

   Did you hear that? Only achieved by The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Michael Jackson and Taylor Swift. I am not a fan to some but do you know what is the very common of them four? They wrote their own songs! They just don't sit and wait for someone who can give them a pie ready!

     Most of today's songs are about sex, money, drugs, etc. Totally garbage for me! I just miss old music/songs and everyone who created them! If only I can trade them to new artists today, I really would!

     Oh well, just saying! And I know, I'm not alone... xoxo

A Blessed Day (Recollection)

Truly blessed!

     I am so blessed for I have joined Father Tony's recollection today. He is a Filipino priest here in the Netherlands. It is also a preparation for the coming Holy Week. He gathered few Filipinos he knew and I'm one of them. He let us feel today the real presence of our only God and His only son Jesus Christ. The feeling is incomparable. It is completely amazing! This is Father Tony's first recollection here and we asked him if he could make it at least once a year because we all loved the feeling. It's like making your connection with God more stronger! Rejuvenating as well. Knowing a lot of yourself and the people around you.

(From left to right) - Sheila, Me, Ate Beth, Father Tony, Ate Luming and Ate Bebot

     And a few of us attending the recollection;

Seriously, if you draw God everyday and let Him live in you every second of your life - If everyone is doing this, the world might be at peace. Father Tony said the moment we'll leave the place, our lives will not be the same anymore. I will try to absorb everything he said and what God wants me to do. Check me after a year or so, until another recollection might be! xoxo

After School

     After long hours of exploring my blog's design, my BabyLove has arrived from her school. She kissed and asked me some snacks right away. LoL!

Isn't she adorable? She said, school today is cool! Oh well, kids normally say that ^_^

Finally!

Finally!

My residence card is finally here! My husband and I filed this last month, February 27th and less than a month it's already here. Such a bliss!

     You see, my name is in there! LoL! It's just making me happy because you know when you are an alien here in the Netherlands, you have to follow some strict rules! If you want to stay here longer than 6 months, you have to take the language exam that they called Inburgering in the country of your origin. It means, you have to take it before you come here. And if you pass, then you can stay here for longer time.

     This card also gives me the right to work here. I guess, it will make me more happier if I could get a job soon. In the nick of time, I still feel blessed to have this card so soon, sooner than I expected.

                                                                  xoxo

Baby Love goes to school! Yey!

Every child is nurtured by her/his surrounding. A home is always the best place to start. School and friends are important as well, and so we are sending our baby love to school. She had her preschool in the Philippines but then since we moved here in the Netherlands a month ago, we need to look for a new one. We chose the International School in the near city because they guide children that are new to this place (Netherlands) and teach them the Dutch Language. The school is only 25 minute drive from our house or it depends on traffic.

Her teacher told us that she is well-behaved in school and easily catches up things that being taught to her;

Her class starts at 8:45AM to 2:45PM, from Monday to Friday (except Wednesday, up to 12:25PM only).
The school driver picks her up at 8:00AM and sends her home at almost 3:30PM.

Winter's almost gone!

I'm just happy that winter is almost over. I guess, one more week and we can feel the difference. No more white grounds and cold skins. But of course, we need to have a little Winter to appreciate Spring!

Though it's never too cold to have him around! ;)

Can't wait for next week! ^_^

Alexandra van Roozendaal

I always think of something to put up in a blogger. I'm a little "talk-talk" type of person. I even love talking to myself sometimes. Lol! But sometimes I can't really put it up on a paper. I mean, perhaps I'm only good on talking and not so much in writing. Still, I want this blogger to have more posts. So, I'm thinking of reminiscing the past and share the growing life of my only baby, Alexandra.

This picture was taken May, 2007. The month when Alex was started growing on my belly-belly (as she calls it).

And it follows by the first sign;

and her very first pictures inside my tummy. During my ultrasound at Cebu Doctor's Women's Center - Cebu City, Philippines.

And after 9 months of carrying her inside me, she finally popped out! It was February 22, 2008 where I didn't even believe myself that I was that strong to have had her out of me! I mean, yeah the doctors were a big help but I was still proud that it was really my strength.

She was as beautiful as I dreamed about. I guess, she looked more like her Dad! :(
Believe it or not, I never heard her crying since she was born. When she first came out (in the hospital), the doctor tried to put her upside down and let her cry but she never did. She was only like a little urgg and that was it. Even when we took her home the day after, I can't remember she gave me sleepless night. I was on a breastfeeding basis until she turned 2 years old. I was on pure breastfeeding until she turned 6 months. I mean, only my milk and no other food and water until 6 months. And after that, she had cereals and a few with my milk. She only woke up in the middle of the night and touched me, and then that was when I putted my nipples on her mouth and fed her, but then my eyes were still closed and so were hers. I am proud of that because mostly babies are really the crying type. And I am truly blessed that I can sleep eight hours straight or even more. Even on her vaccinations, we never heard her cry. Her pediatrician even called her "Alex the Bravest". Lol! Until now, she is still not the crying type of kid. Very sweet, kind and respectful. I guess it's very important!

She was and is truly a blessing to us...

And the pictures follow from her one month of existence until now...

 FIRST BIRTHDAY

FOURTH;

And her FIFTH YEAR;

It was never easy raising a child but never too hard either. Other Moms even did it with more than one kid, why can't I? So, perhaps I'm thinking it is really with the person. Because it needs someone special to raise a good child.

 The joy she gives me everyday is more than enough. I mean, she never fails to make me smile and happy every single day of my life since she was born!

3rd Birthday

Hmmm!

I didn't get a chance to write something about my only baby's birthday this year. Oh, it was last month's 22nd . Opps, I didn't have a blogger that time yet. LoL!

So, here are some part of it;

This picture was really taken during her birthday, February 22, 2013. We had few foods that was being shared by the family. And what made her really happy were the balloons and the gifts.

February 23, 2013, the day after her birthday, we took her to De Efteling. It's a place where kids or adults will really have loads of fun. It was actually one of our birthday gifts to her...

with her Dad

After watching 3d short movies (imax)
She was trying to say "I want more!" Lol!

And others inside De Efteling

Seriously, time flies too fast. It's like it was only yesterday that I had her in my womb. Oh well, I'm still glad that she turned out to be a sweet girl like I'm expecting her to be. Proud Mama here <3

I am new!

It's been a decade since I decided to have a blog. LoL! Well, I have one now. I hope this will make sense. So, just this for now. Will think of some more to put up in here. See ya'll soon!
